Jumbo, with its headquarters in Athens, is a Greek retailer of
toys, baby items, seasonal items, decoration items, and stationery. Jumbo operates
over 80 stores, more than half of which are located in Greece, 6 in Cyprus, 10
in Bulgaria and 16 in Romania with other stores under development.
Melsam was appointed by Jumbo, as the general contractor for
the complete rehaul of the recently acquired Jumbo Mall (formerly called Liberty
Mall) from Bucharest. The project features the complete renovation, reconfiguration
and fitout of over 70 000 sqm. This surface is distributed as 2 underground
parking levels, 3 above ground shopping floors, plus the terrace. Also
sanitary, electric and mechanical installations are included.
